Privacy Policy
SplitForecast is made by BKMT Studios LLC ("we"). This policy explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have. We do not sell your data, show ads, or track you across other apps and websites.
What we collect
Account: your email address, a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), the nickname you choose, and when you agreed to these terms.
Your gym: the gyms you choose as your home gym, when you joined or left them, and your choices for counting your plan in the forecast and showing your split card.
Your training plan: your weekly split (session names, muscle groups, days, usual times or time windows, durations, rough equipment use), your rules for suggestions (rest days, recovery gaps, days in a row), weeks you mark as away or changed, and the suggestions you accept, decline or undo.
Community: people you block, reports you send, and gym requests you submit.
Usage counters that limit how often searches and suggestion checks can run.
Location: only when you tap "Use my location", your device location is sent to our server and to Google to find nearby gyms, and to rank your gym searches in that visit. It is not stored.
On your device only: your sign-in session and your rest timer durations. These stay on your phone.
We do not collect contacts, photos, health records, payment details, advertising identifiers or analytics.
How we use it
To run the app: your account, your gym and your split.
To build your gym’s forecast: plans of members who chose "Count my plan in the forecast" are combined into anonymous counts per day and time. A time slot is only shown when five or more members planned it, and nothing is shown until 20 members take part.
To make suggestions: when you tap "Check my split", an automated, rule-based process compares your plan with the anonymous forecast. It never changes your split unless you accept, and you can undo a change until it starts.
To keep the community safe: to review reports, act on abuse and limit misuse.
What other members see
Members of your gym see only the anonymous forecast. If you turn on "Show my split card", they also see your nickname and the muscle groups you train each day, never your times. You can turn this off at any time.
Who we share it with
Supabase, which hosts our database, sign-in and server code in the United States, and sends our account emails.
Google: gym search text, the location you share for nearby search, and gym identifiers go to Google Places and Google Time Zone to find gyms. When you open directions or the map, Google Maps or Apple Maps receives what they need to show them.
We share data when the law requires it, or to protect people from harm. We never sell personal data.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, gym memberships, plans, suggestions, reports, blocks and gym requests are deleted, and forecasts that included you are withdrawn and rebuilt without you. Copies in our providers’ backups and logs expire on their own schedules.
Your choices and rights
You can see and change your plan and gym in the app, turn forecast counting and your split card on or off, and delete your account under Profile → Delete account.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to some processing. To ask, email support@relaycare.app. We will answer within 30 days.
Children
SplitForecast is for adults. You must be 18 or older to use it, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
Security
Data travels over encrypted connections, access is limited by account, and every database read is checked against your account. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and ask you to agree again in the app.
